News: Kelburn Garden Party announce 1st wave of artists for 2023

Kelburn Garden Party is back to business this summer to present a ‘festival like no other’.

Building on last year’s line-up, which was their most inclusive and diverse yet, the majority of this year’s stage headliners are female or female-led, non-binary, or of BPOC descent.

On the Square Stage – Kelburn’s live music hub  –  we welcome Dutch-New Zealand cosmic-blues rockers My Baby to the key Saturday night headline slot while Bristol’s #1 live drum’n’bass sensation Dr Meaker and Sheffield-based Ghanaian vocalist K.O.G. brings his full band to Scotland for the first time on Friday and Sunday respectively. Amongst many others, Kobi Onyame, Kitti, Mickey 9’s and HEISK are among the top Scottish acts to make up the bill here.

Flagship electronic stage The Landing will see live sets from the legendary Radioactive Man, Rival Consoles and Alex Banks with DJ sets from local heroes Auntie Flo, Éclair Fifi and Lezzer Quest. Drum’n’bass fans will delight at seeing Dutch wizard Coco Bryce, Metalheadz alumni DJ Flight and globe-trotting Fifer Mrs Magoo play DJ sets there.

The Viewpoint Stage is once again a melting pot of soulful feelgood sounds with a healthy focus on the fusion between jazz and electronica from Rebecca Vasmant Ensemble, Werkha and the Zeitgeist Freedom Energy Exchange all playing live. The guest DJs booked here will span the cutting edge of house, electro, dub, bass, techno and global club sounds – Ninja Tune’s Karen Nyame KG, Crazy P, Mungo’s Hi-Fi, Aroop Roy and Dar Disku for example.

Kelburn continues their partnership with The Skinny Magazine on the Pyramid Stage with Aiitee, Sacred Paws and Comfort the headliners there.

Kelburn Garden Pary will take place June 30th to July 3rd – Kelburn Castle, Nr. Fairlie, KA29 0BE – get tickets
