Turn The Tables to offer DJ lessons to people facing homelessness

Electronic music-based social enterprise Turn The Tables’ new Creative Scotland backed project aims to help support the wellbeing of people facing homelessness across Scotland.

Set to launch in May, the project’s aims are to ’empower mental health resilience and encourage self-development by providing an inclusive and accessible programme that gives people facing homelessness the opportunity to learn to mix and perform their own DJ sets.’

The project will take participants through three creative stages, from The Beginner DJ to The Pro DJ, ultimately leading to a live stream performance. Participants will perform their own DJ set that will be broadcast to the world via social media from the enterprise’s partnered music venues.

Slam and Glasgow-based DJ, producer and label boss Nightwave are joining TTT as ambassadors.
