Kelburn Garden Party 2020 Canceled

Kelburn Garden Party is always one of the highlights of the summer.  Unfortunately due to the COVID-19 pandemic they have announced that they have had to cancel this year’s event.

The good news is that they’ve set the date for their 2021 weekend – 2nd till 5th July.

Their intention is to roll over this year’s line-up where possible in order to present the festival they were looking forward to sharing this year.

We wish everyone at Kelburn Garden Party the best and look forward to next year when we can all get together and celebrate festival season again.

The festival organisers say:

‘Due to the ongoing impact of Covid-19, it is with great sadness that we have decided to postpone this year’s Kelburn Garden Party until July 2021. We have been watching the developing situation closely, and while we had hoped the ban on public gatherings and events could be lifted by July, we have concluded that it would be both risky and irresponsible to hold a festival under the current circumstances. We feel that summer 2020 is going to be a period of reflection and recovery rather than a time of celebration and wild abandon, so we’ll be using the time to think on ways to improve our festival even more for next year.

We’ve been lucky enough to have 10 years of amazing Garden Parties, creating memories and friendships we will cherish forever and with your help Kelburn will be back next year with more magic, music and good vibes for us to enjoy together. It is our intention to roll over this year’s line-up where possible in order to present the festival we were looking forward to sharing this year.

We’ll be writing to all ticket holders with more details on the situation and further instructions as soon as possible. Tickets for the new dates in 2021 will go back on sale soon at the 2020 prices and those of you who are currently using the instalment scheme can choose to restart these at a convenient time and spread payments for up to 14 months.

If you have any questions or want more information, please contact us at info@kelburnarts.com.

We also want to take this opportunity to send maximum love to all of those affected by Covid-19 and especially to the amazing people at the NHS and all you essential workers who are keeping the rest of us safe and supplied.

Finally, we thank each of you from the bottom of our hearts for your support in making Kelburn such a loving, exciting, and magical place to be; you will be sorely missed this year. We can’t wait to see you all again under the trees and stars in happier circumstances.
