Headlining the North Fife festival is Edinburgh based Hamish Hawk, whose upcoming album, A Firmer Hand, is set to release this summer. Having sold out Glasgow’s Barrowlands this February his compelling stage presence and smart lyricism sees him firmly on the rise.

Hawk is supported by anthemic queer pop group Walt Disco as well as fellow Glasgow based Free Love, both paragons of the success of the city’s DIY scene.

Local talent Theo Bleak and Jutebox join the line-up alongside Afrobeat/Soul from Aberdeen’s AiiTee. Wrapping up the evening are the Funky Gunners, a collective of passionate DJs and crate-diggers.

In a press release Big Rock Records detail how they are ‘very excited about the musicians on the bill and to bring the fun, energy and vibe of Big Rock Records gigs to Forgan’s stunning grounds.’

On the festival, Forgan Arts Centre’s Director Jennifer White, says: ‘We look forward to welcoming our community for an afternoon and evening of music and art for all ages in our grounds and gardens.’

The festival is set to take place on the 3rd of August at the Forgan Arts Centre and tickets are available at the Forgan Arts Centre’s website
