Single Review: KAIROS – Cruel

KAIROS artist

‘Cruel’ is the latest release from Leeds-based Zambian/Glaswegian artist Louisa McClure’s solo project KAIROS. With Bhundu Boys-esque guitar licks, the energetic indie pop track draws upon Louisa’s lyrical prowess and hypnotic vocals to balance the sweet rhythmic bounce of the melody.

It’s incredibly danceable and is featured on a compilation album, Boundless, from Leed’s label Come Play With Me. It dropped online on the 17th September and is also available on vinyl.

Boundless features the single ‘Cruel’ and is out now on Come Play With Me
