Single review: Monza Express – Lady Belle

The latest single from Aberdeen-based five-piece Monzo Express is the definition of catchy. From the first notes it’s a hit, with polished production and with its Beatles-inspired chord progression, it sounds familiar but not overdone.

‘Lady Belle’ tells a story of unrequited affection but the opposite way round than usual, from someone who ‘just isn’t feeling it’. It’s jangly, sunny indie-pop at it’s best.

‘Lady Belle’ was released 11th March
